2. User Accounts

Registering for a free account unlocks additional features and higher upload limits:

• Guest users may upload files up to 1 GB per file.
• Registered users may upload files up to 3 GB per file.
• All users benefit from unlimited total storage at no charge.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

3. Storage & File Retention Policy

Zippyshare keeps your files available for as long as they are actively used:

• Files that are downloaded or accessed remain available indefinitely.
• A file is considered inactive if it has not been downloaded within the last 30 days.
• Inactive files are permanently deleted after 30 days from the date of the last download.
• No prior warning is sent before deletion. We recommend keeping your files active by downloading or sharing them regularly.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to upload, share, or distribute content that:

• Infringes any intellectual property, copyright, trademark, or patent rights.
• Contains malware, viruses, trojans, or any other harmful code.
• Is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or violates any applicable law.
• Includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance, with immediate removal and reporting to authorities.
• Is used for phishing, spam, or fraudulent activities.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all files you upload. By uploading, you grant Zippyshare a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, serve, and deliver your files solely for the purpose of providing the service. Zippyshare does not claim ownership over your content.

6. Termination of Services

Zippyshare reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in activities that harm the platform or other users. Files associated with terminated accounts may be deleted immediately.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Zippyshare is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zippyshare shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
